Through the use of the Product Linking facility you can perform the following three types of actions:
Type
C Copy history from one product to another
D Daily information (on hand, on order, sales) added from one product to another
X Accumulate single pick and/or half case information to a full case product
The ‘C’ or Copy history type of record is a single use facility which is used once in the K3S night job, and then flagged to not be used again.
Both the ‘D’ or Daily information type of record and the ‘X’ or Accumulate type of record are established to be used in every K3S night job that occurs. They are continuous use records.
