Night Job Parameters
This table code is responsible for the following night job parameters. This group tells K3S_NITECL if certain tools should be run.
ALT_SYSTEM
Description:
This table code checks to see if the alternate source system process should be ran in the night job. All alternate source orders are saved if this is not the night for creating new alternate source orders. They are copied back into the order files at the end of the night job. If this is not an alternate source processing night, then all alternate source orders are restored back to the regular order files.
Enable:
If Flag 1 = 1, then this feature is turned on for night job processing
If Flag 1 = 0, then the night job will not run this process

AUTO_PO
Description:
This table code will check to see if the auto PO approval process should be ran in the night job.
Enable:
If Flag 1 = 1, then this feature is turned on for night job processing
If Flag 1 = 0, then the night job will not run this process

FIRST_TIME
Description:
If this flag is on, then this customer wants any products going into K3S that have a status of ‘D’ or discontinued for the first time, to automatically be changed to user status ‘M’ or manual. This would cause a log type 8 to happen.
Enable:
If Flag 1 = 1, then this feature is turned on for night job processing
If Flag 1 = 0, then the night job will not run this process

LOG_REPORT
Description:
This table code will check to see if the Log Report for Product Transactions should be processed.
Enable:
If Flag 1 = 1, then this feature is turned on for night job processing
If Flag 1 = 0, then the night job will not run this process

LOG_TYPE_5
Description:
This table code will check to see if a Log type ‘5’ (Supplier passed does not exist) should be processed.
Enable:
If Flag 1 = 1, then this feature is turned on for night job processing
If Flag 1 = 0, then the night job will not run this process

OVERSTOCK
Description:
This table code, if turned on, will find overstocked products for the company. If there are overstock information, the night job will update the product. Flag 1 must be 1 to get overstock checks and OVR batch.
Enable:
If Flag 1 = 1, then control the population of file K_PRODOVP
If Flag 1 = 0, then the night job will not run this process

Description:
This table code will check to see if the Period End Filter shold be processed.

PROD_LINK
Description:
This product code is for the Product Linkage function and will be checked to see if it should be processed to combine values.

If Flag 1 = 1, then this feature is turned on for night job processing
If Flag 1 = 0, then the night job will not run this process

RMV_HISTRY
Description:
Once the NJP Night Job Parameter flag 1 has been set to 1 for RMV_HISTRY, program K3S_3045 will remove all product history records from that product in both K_PRODHIS and K_PRODH2 files. All occurances that match will be deleted.

If Flag 1 = 1, then this feature is turned on for night job processing
If Flag 1 = 0, then the night job will not run this process

TRANSFER
Description:
This table code, if turned on, will check to see if the Transfer Supplier been installed. If so, the K_INTPROD file will be updated with the transfer supplier ID’s and copy forecast. This table code will also include the history for new products established in the transfer system.

If Flag 1 = 0, then the night job will not run this process

VALID_PROC
Description:
For the patch program K3S_FX500, this table code would be used for updating the length of the mask. The Supplier Validation will be checked to see if it has been processed by checking the supplier ID’s in K_INTPROD.

If Flag 1 = 0, then the night job will not run this process
